Owen K. Yamamura, CWS®, CEP®, NSSA®

Owen Yamamura is the President and founder of Pacific Capital Investments with over 26 years of experience in the financial services industry. He is committed to helping individuals build and preserve their wealth by creating customized financial planning and investment strategies. He enjoys the opportunity he has to make a positive impact on families’ lives.

Prior to becoming a Financial Planner, Owen was a high school teacher at Hawaii Baptist Academy. While he enjoyed teaching, he wanted to combine his passion for teaching and helping with his interest in finance. He became a Financial Planner and founded his independent firm with the desire to work closely with families and empower them to make informed financial decisions and take an active role in their financial strategies. Still a teacher at heart, Owen conducts monthly educational seminars that cover a variety of financial topics.

Owen holds through LPL the FINRA Series 6, 7, 26, 63, and 65 securities registrations. He is a graduate of Mid Pacific Institute and received his Bachelor of Arts in Education and Social Sciences from Wheaton College. As a Certified Wealth Strategist^® (CWS^®), he has the technical knowledge and practice management know-how to create a wealth services practice that effectively works for clients with complex wealth issues. With this designation, he is committed to becoming his clients' valued advisor. Additionally, Owen is the first Financial Planner in the State of Hawaii to successfully complete and receive the professional advisor’s certificate on Social Security Education through the National Social Security Advisor (NSSA™), an organization that upholds and recognizes the standard of excellence for competent and ethical Social Security planning.

Outside of the office, much of Owen’s time is dedicated to spending quality time with his wife of more than 25 years, Sandy, and their four children, Tiffany, Luke, Joshua and Johanna Grace. Together with Sandy, he leads a weekly home group for parents of young children to build strong relationships. In his spare time, he coaches youth volleyball, and enjoys spending time in the beautiful Hawaii outdoors.
